He was extremely professional and polite through the quote process, and kept us informed of the timeframe for completing the work. After first contacting Christian he arranged to come to my aged parents house and assess the job . He was courteous to my parents and explained a number of details . This was Friday evening and he promised to start on the Monday . True to his word he did . Job finished in two days which we estimated it would be. And on a budget near to what we could expect . My 90 year old dad is not capable of doing the jobs he used to do so Christian will be their first call . Post note : one quote from a Biulder was 4x what Christian invoice was . Be careful.There are cowboys out there !

I've waited on this because I don't like leaving negative reviews. (Maybe I was just unlucky?) But I now have to say something. Shortly after the plumber left having fitted the new kitchen tap, I found the cupboard full of water. The drainage traps were leaking. Whilst fixing this I found the plumber had broken the knob of the drinking water isolator tap and left it hidden at the bottom of the cupboard. Today The tap came loose on the sink unit and I had to crawl about in the cupboard to tighten it. At 80 years old this is why I didn't want to fit it myself in the first place. Having agreed a price of £90:00 to fit my tap, they also charged me £11.78 for a 10mm coupler which he had to go out and buy. I could have bought it for £2:00 from B&Q so I presume he charged for the time it took him. What sort of plumber doesn't have one on his van. So! I'm sorry. I very rarely leave a bad review; often preferring to abstain but I really can't avoid this. I'll be a lot more careful before I engage another plumber through MYBuilder. As for the tap: a three way mixer from Vyair of Horncastle. £69.99 post free (Next day delivery), solid brass, three separate feed tubes. Wonderful value and looks as if it will last a long time. Give them a try but find a good plumber.
