No long wait (other plumbers have told me '2 weeks' etc, but these came next day (it was not an emergency) Very pleasant, informative. Did a thorough search of problem. My only comment would be that the price quoted excludes VAT which I always think is unhelpful when talking to private customers. Quote the price we need to pay! Other than that though, excellent.

Jack arrived early, very early. Not a bad thing and probably just as well. He had a few problems after fitting new parts as re-fix of cistern was not level. So start again. In the end a good job done; no mess, no fuss. Jack presents very well and the results justified our confidence in going with the first quote. (so far? no other adverse comments, but you never know) Employ Louis Picot and Jack again? Definitely. The only one of 3 plumbers who expressed interest and followed up meticulously. Even when we had to delay at short notice no problem. Quick response; very reasonable quote actioned quickly. Good stuff!

They replaced my shower okay. The plumber didn't clean out the bath. It was filthy & there was a screw in the debris. Plumber advised me to not use the shower for 12 hours. Then someone rang insisting I pay them that day, even though I could not use the shower until the next day. Then they messaged me again the same day. The plumber could not have tested the shower properly because of all the dirt in the bath. I won't use them again.

Asked for half the money up front before he started the job! Did half the job but expected me to pay him full price! When I told him he hadn't finished the job he came up with load of excuses making out he didn't know he had to move all the pipework in the kitchen and was quite rude. Didn't take any of the rubbish away. He then demanded I pay him more than the original estimate which I refused to do because the original price was for moving all the pipework and he only moved half and when he moved the remaining pipework he used cheap plastic not copper. Sent me text in capitals demanding payment even though he hadn't replied to my prior text offering payment! Avoid at all costs!
