I work as an on site carpenter, doing 1st and 2nd fix, I regularly lay a lot of wood flooring, engineered and solid wood, hang doors, fit kitchens, do stud work, skirting, architraves etc.. all to a high standard. I feel it’s very important to get the job done right first time on time and professionally, it’s the very least a customer deserves. I have been working in the trade for 15 years now and have built up a lot of experience. I regularly undertake decorating and tiling jobs.

  • Neil Mackenzie Joinery
Rating: 5 out of 5551 review

Hi, I'm 54 and have spent the last 29 years self employed in the construction industry. I'm a time served joiner and also have extensive experience in other trades too. I have also worked as a foreman and trainee site agent in the private sector as well. Highland & Islands based.

    Latest review:
The last job completed by Neil was an excellent flat roof job which he firstly framed, insulated with Kingspan and covered with fibreglass, finishing with gutters and downpipes. Everything was done in such a neat and professional manner! In 2003/4 after having bought my old primary school and schoolhouse my wife and I contracted Neil and his team to bring the 1860's era schoolhouse back from the brink and although we have since sold the house we spent many happy years there. He has since helped us with various projects and I can think of very few builders/joiners with such all round experience. We always knew where we stood re every job and would recommend Neil before anyone else! I say that as someone who has been self-employed for 24 years!
