You sound like a very determined to learn and succeed young lad.
I can also sense that you love what you are studying and doing and I clearly see that you are confident about your knowledge. You definitely show a "can do it" attitude.
Unfortunately we are too far apart to work together.
I replied to your question for two reasons and some advice:
First, as an experienced management professional and trades/mechanics/electronics person, I would recommend you to any professional in your area, telling him that if he would take my advice and work with you he would not be disappointed.
Second, I would advise you the little flame that you have for carpentry and the trades to turn it into a fire and do ALL your jobs as you would do them for YOUR OWN PLACE. Do not ever rush a job to go to the next sacrificing detail and finishing excellence for speed. Do not be afraid to be innovative with your work but always ask the customers if your ideas suit them. You ll find out that you have great ideas and make people happy with them. Go the extra mile for free if you have to for your customer to say "AWESOME JOB". Get always ALL and the best tools for the jobs and even some that you may think that you ll seldom use. Get a big van (Luton) to have plenty of room for your tools and working space.
Learn about everything related to your trade or not. Put your brain and your hands to work with the whole spectrum of engineering. Mechanical, electrical, electronic .... everything. I know that it can not be done from one day to the next, but you will find out later on, that all this vast knowledge, experience and mind sharpening is useful no matter what job you are doing.
God bless you son.
