FENSA and building control

For building control sign off, for an extension with all windows replaced, do I need a FENSA certificate The glazier i spoke to is not keen on giving a certificate.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi if building control are signing the extention off they will sign windows off as well. But I would hold back some money until they sign them off just incase there's a problem with the window fitting

Yes you should be presented with a email & hardcopy of your insurance once the work has been completed & signed off
