LEDs permanently on

Anonymous user 1 March 2024 - 3.02 PM

In the bedroom are eight dimmable leds. On one side of the room they work fine. On the other half the bulbs have been removed by the previous owner of the house I assume because when I connect the bulb up they are permanently on at full brightness. I’ve changed the driver and the problem remains. Either half the room is in darkness or the leds can’t he turned off. Any ideas please ?

Probably incorrect wiring. There is a permanent live feed to one half of the lights instead of a switched live. Just ask an electrician to sort it out.

Yes, the lights may have been wired incorrectly but there may also be a second switch within the room which controls the permanently fed lights.
