Muriatic acid: This is a strong acid that can be used to remove cement, but it is important to use it with caution as it can damage the brick. It is important to dilute the muriatic acid with water before using it, and to wear safety glasses and gloves when handling it

Muriatic acid commonly known as (brick acid) is used. Diluted as per instructions for different materials to be cleaned. As different manufacturers come with different dilutions to start with. Caution must be taken when handling acids the correct COSHH guidelines should be adhered to when handling and storing hazardous substances.

Yes I agree brick acid is the product to use leave it to soak in and attack it with wire brush do a test area first to get the right dillution ratio some time they tell you to use more of the product so you run out quicker to go off and buy some more. dust sheets of some description to protect the floor be it slabs or tarmac you must wear PPE when using it a mask goggles and gloves and if poss wear long sleeves acid burns dilute or not it will cause skin irritation and burn keep pets out of the area to and children try to dab it rather than brush it reduces splashes good luck with your project
