Fencing quotes surrounding area

When we price for fencing we usually quote for the completed job. Materials and labour, never usually per metre. If a client asks for a breakdown per metre then this can be done using the quotation from the completed works. But we always note that the quote is barring any unforeseen circumstances.

charge per bay or if materials are already brought would be day rate

Majority of fencers would charge per metre, but I have heard of some preferring to charge per fence bay for example per fence panel post and gravel board not forgetting the post mix.
