Extensions Question

Single skin extension.

I own a victorian terrace with a original single skin kitchen. A 7ft by 6ft single skin utility room has been added on to the end of the kitchen. This room is cold and damp whats the best way to deal with this. Thermal rendering or knock down and build again. What would the costs be?

I would personally knock it down as its quite small. If you allow 10k for the job you should be fine

To save knocking down, you could put internal stud wall up and insulate and board. That would be a start. Cost approx 4-5K
