Replace tiles underneath kitchen legs
I have several cracked tiles in the kitchen, which I have removed and I am happy to replace with new ones. However, a couple of the broken tiles are stuck underneath the legs of a kitchen cabinet: is there any easy way to remove and replace them? As a side question, what is the best way to remove the old tile mortar/adhesive before installing new tiles and how thorough do I have to be with the cleaning?

Hi your tiles under cabinet should have legs which you can unscrew to raise them but best to do one at a time..getting old tile adhesive off can be fun a good scraper usually works or an old chisel you need to get the high points off but if you new adhesive is above the old and the new tiles fit flush then I shouldn't worry too much..hope this helps.

You can normally twist the cabinet legs which raises them up so you can then get to the tile to remove it. You can grind the old cement down with an angle grinder but normally a hammer and chisel works best. You don't need to be too thorough, just enough for a new cement bed.
