I have one window to block and brick up completely 1.2m x 2.1m at the front of the house, Another opening is 3.8m wide by 2.1 high, i want to block and brick it up with a smaller window 1.2m x 1.2m on the side of the house, have patio doors the other end, so plenty of light. can this be done with permitted development or do i need planning, East sussex, wealdon council Thanks

This can be done withought planning permission along as this is on the ground floor

Unless the building is listed then the proposed work should be permissable
If in any doubt contact the planning department to clatify

Firstly one has to determine if the property is listed or in a conservation area, this should be known by the homeowner and if not the status of the property must be checked with the local planing authority before any work is scheduled
