The electrical installation certificate that you received should have a recommended date of next inspection stated on it. There is no definitive answer to your question because anything from one year to ten years is listed. However, ten years is a maximum.
The wiring Regulations do not require an EICR every five years. That is incorrect those who are saying that. To clarify, The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020 require landlords in rented accommodation to have an EICR carried out at least every 5 years.

An EICR is needed 5 years after the date of the installation certificate when the rewire was completed. This would mean you need an EICR in two years time. This differs however if you are a landlord and renting to a tenant. In this case, the EICR is needed every 5 years, or when you have a change of tenant, whichever comes first.
Anywhere between 1 and 10 years, it is normally specified on the original certification when a retest is due. However if renting out a change of tenant requires a retest.

You should have a certificate with dates, check those dates and current EICR certificates are valid for 5 years at a time.
