You need to build a stud work frame around your pipework cover it either plasterboard or ply depending on what finish required.

Hi, you would want to use either CLS timber or batten as it would be cheaper and potentially a slimmer finish depending on what you’re looking for. You can either plasterboard and get it plaster or use the brown side facing out and paint directly onto it. Or a better option for going this way would be Moisture resistant MDF as it is easier to paint and the edges will be a better finish than ply. Also using insulation around the pipes will help reduce noise from the services! Hope this helps

Stud framing is the bare minimum as in other answers; but can also suggest finishing panels using upvc bullnose sedction on one face and flat section adjacent to it. This, once suitably sealed to the profile makes a water resistant feature which can also be easily removed and refitted for maintenance or duct repairs. Fixings can employ white caps on plastic screw washers cheaply available.

This can be achieved by building a frame and sheeting it with either plasterboard or ply, depending on how you are planning to finish the look for example you may already have wet wall or tiles in your bathroom and you are planning to match the boxing in with the rest of your bathroom, I would definitely stay away from using MDF in a bathroom.
