Viva dual flush

Anonymous user 28 February 2024 - 4.06 PM

I have Viva SKY015 dual flush valve that has gone faulty! I can get the valve out at squeeze by clicking and turning it out of the cradle fitted to the bottom of the tank. It is a concealed cistern with limited access. Struggling to find another dual flush valve that will fit the cradle in my tank! Are there any other dual flush manufacturers valves I can buy that will fit an existing cradle in the water tank made by Viva I mean by cradle the white part the black valve presses into. Please note the one stocked at Toolstation SKY030 does not fit my concealed cistern unit the black unit the push button attaches too is too large to fit in my unit. Hence the reason I wish to know if another makers dual flush will fit the cradle inside the tank. I am unable to remove the tank so need one that fits the existing Viva cradle.

Take it to a city plumbing or wolesley and maybe they'll find a replacement,if not pull out the pan and replace it that way

Hi Elizabeth If the Viva Skylo 015 flush valve is letting by, you can usually just change the washer. You might find it difficult to find from a plumbers merchants. If so pluminbits.co.uk sell the washers and a whole new flush valve if needed. Hope this helps. Good luck. Brian

It is frustrating finding the right flush valve that fits your WC but I would contact the manufacturer first and see if they can send you a replacement as a lot of flush valves come with a guarantee, if not then remove it and then take it to a plumbing merchants or get a plumber to come round and do it for you :)

Because you have the make and model of the valve. If you put that into Google, then you should be able to order the exact same 1 online and it will fit
