Water dripping from inside the boiler?

Anonymous user 23 February 2024 - 3.48 PM

Hi everyone. We had the boiler moved in the loft by a certified plumber in November 2021, since then, it started leaking water from inside the boiler itself and the pressure keeps dropping to 0. We called the guy again but he couldn't find the cause of this dripping water... I got pictures I just took of inside the boiler where I can see some water Pictures here: https://files.fm/u/t2dgh7but

Can't see any pictures? Could be linked to a few things, I.e anything inside boiler that has central heating water running through it. Pics would help, but for a definitive answer really best to call in a local gas safe registered engineer. Remember to have your boiler serviced every year, will prevent any avoidable breakdowns.

That clearly shows that the automatic air vent at the pump is or has been leaking. That’s what i can see from the pics anyways could also be from somewhere else.

From pictures it is the auto air vent looks like a Worcester boiler so should be under warranty. If you phone Worcester and as long as it has been registered they should sort for you.
