plastic or metal roofing sheets for house. pros and cons

Myself I think concrete roof would suit you as cost effective, I could imagine being very noisy in rain if used a metal covering imitating tiles, or any other material other than tried and tested traditional roofing methods. I can imagine plastic dulling faster in the sun. I can't see much difference in price comparing to a marley modern or a double roman roof tile get a lot of coverage and will last much much longer

Myself personally would not use either on a main house roof, there’s a lot more cons than there is pros… if you was looking for a cost effective way to provide a fresh new roof I’d use a traditional concrete tile.
