Octagon roof light

Hi I'm going to be working on a octagon roof light about 2.600mtr by 900mm High what section of rafters would you suggest I use its going to be glazed with 6/14/6.4lam Glass

Weight dispersal would go onto the hips of the roof,question could be better put across for us builders ,clear communication is first rule of any job .could you rephrase please .
