Plumbing Question

Central heating air lock

I have relocated the CH pump to above the bungalow ceiling and the flow and returns are all new 15mm pipes down to each radiator. The oil boiler is 4 meters away at ground level so the pump has to draw water up say 5 feet and along 4 meters. Pump manufacturers say this should be no problem. The problem I have is the heated water from the boiler refuses to rise further that half way up the wall then the boiler shuts down. Have tried hosing water down through the feed tank outlet until it emerges from the overflow to no avail.
Any other ideas please for clearing the apparent airlock?

fit vents in on the high spots of the system. they really should already be there, have you checked. Are you sure the pump is actually pumping? Check this first.
