Water tempreture

I live in a bungalow. my cold water tank is in the loft and my hot water tank is in the bedroom. We only have an emersion heater to heat hot water. My shower will only run warm and not hot but the water fom the taps is scalding hot. We have a Mira excel shower which has just had new innards but it still only runs warm when on full heat. We have tried changing the setting from low to high pressure but still no joy. also the pressure from the taps is fine but poor pressure from the shower. Any advice pleaseeeeee !!

It sounds as if the thermostatic valve needs adjusted to let more hot water through or the filters need cleaning.
As for the water pressure to the shower I would recommend installing a pump, that should solve your problem.

your thermostat needs to be set up it a bit of a pain but does not take long get a plumber
