Painting & Decorating Question

Bathroom roof???

hiya, i moved into a rented house last year and the paint in the bathroom was all cracked and flaking/peeling off so i painted it but after a couple months this happened again, so i scraped it off and it seems the paint is directly on the plaster board, does the plaster need to be sealed before painting? could that be the cause that it keeps peeling off? or is there a certain kind of paint that i should use? any advice you have would be greatly appreciated as i am sitting here with a horrible roof and unsure of what to do.

Thanks x

Use good water based undercoat. Then paint 2 coats of bathroom paint. Remember to keep your bathroom well ventilated as there is virtually no paint resistant to constant humid.
