Aqua panels

can someone help as i wish to have aqua panels installed into bathroom / wet room but have been told that they shatter if you screw or attach anything into them such as hand rails is this correct ?

Firstly ...Aqua Panel is a proprietory boarding used in place of tiles and has a decorative laminate finish on its face, and a marine plywood backing, as long as a pilot hole is used a standard wood screw (Stainless steel or sheridised) is fine for fixing most fittings, if you are getting it confused with Aqua board ( tile backer board used as a substrate backing for tiling) then a little more care is needed, and I suggest drilling through the backer board with a 6mm masonry drill to find solid blockwork, then screw and plug
