Bricklaying Question

Thickness of garden wall

Can I build my garden wall 12 metres x 4 foot high in single skin with 9 inch piers on neighbour's side every 2 metres-ish? Do you think this will be strong enough? How deep should footing be? Is 12 inches enough? Normal soil ground. Thanks

Hi, all sounds good,if your building out block,I think I have min 150mm of con footings, block piers every two metres, but i would keep them on neighbour's face side but with in my boundary so as not to nick any of neighbour's land. Also talk to next door as you will need to point there side in. Good luck, Colin.
