Electrical Question

Ceiling fan if you have spotlights??

I understand it would be fairly simple to fit a ceiling fan with light in place of a standard light, but how would you do this if you have multiple spotlights in a room. I'm looking to get a ceiling fan as my flat gets very warm in the summer but I can't see how you could fit it when there is no single standard light in the centre of the ceiling?

Lift the floorboards in the room above and run a sur off the lighting circuit for the fan and chase the wall out to run a new cable down to the new switch so the fan can be turned on and off. A simple little job for a registered electrician.
