Painting & Decorating Question

Gloss undercoat on new plaster - is there anything i can do?

I recently had some plastering done on wall on ceiling. The plasterer told me to water down paint 50/50 before painting. Whilst I was out my other half 'surprised' me by painting them both with undercoat. Except it was gloss undercoat for wood or metal. What can I do?

You can key the surface by rubbing the shine off the gloss and then apply 1 coat of super grip primer or a an ultra grip primer to the celing and then apply 2 coats of finish coat the primers can be brought at your local dulux stockist or you can go to a good diy store and pick up a primer which enables you to paint over tiles this should do the trick hope that helps good luck
