Insulation Question

Moisture in garage

Can anyone help with this.

I have just moved office into garage last month and all been fine until this week. The metal filing cabinets are this week showing moisture on the front drawers.

IS this to do with the constant rain and damp weather or something more serious like ventilation? I have hired a dehumidifier to try and fix it but very costly.

The garage is standard concrete floor / brick wall and high ceiling as double garage with pitched roof. No insulation and we don't run any heating. Not able to upload pictures but the bottom run of cabinets has moisture patches about 50cm up from the ground.

Worried this will damage the stock inside the cabinets. Any help welcome?

The garage has probably not got any Damp Proof Membrane and will have a high moisture content.

Without seeing the job I'd advise extra heating and ventilation rather than a dehumidifier.

The floor and walls should be insulated and a DPM fitted as a permenant fix

The key terms here are no insulation and metal filing cabinets ,which suggests interstitial condensation.
