Damp Proofing Question

Condensation damp - just paint over it

Hi. I've got quite extensive condensation damp in my bathroom. I've had it looked at and its not penetrating. Is it safe to just paint over it or does it need to be treated? What sort of paint would I use?

really the mould should be scrubbed and treated with anti-fungal chemicals

Get an extractor installed in the bathroom, clean and treat the mould, use stain block on it before painting.
