Quality of limestone tiles

I have recently purchased Limestone tiles from the internet. The tiles have now arrived but the quality of the cut seems poor. The edges of 99% of the tiles contain at least one chip, lots of the tiles have small pieces of the corner missing. Having never purchased limestone before I would like to check that the tiles should have perfect square edges before I ask the seller for a refund.

depends on how bad they are ,once grouted might not be too bad but without seeing ,to be honest most internet purchases are cheap and this is why ,dont know how much you paid m2 but good quality limestone should be 45 pounds plus m2

I agree with substructure, anything internet based re tiles is a no no!!
Topps tiles are the bottom of the retail ladder if you dont go internet purchase.
I recently laid 60sqm of travertine supplied by topps tiles and the quality was the worst ive ever had the displeasure of laying. Poor quality, poor everything with them.

I find tile giant to be on pa and there staff are very helpful if your unsure.

Limestone should be unchipped, it will show after grouting and to be honest it will look cheap.

Send them back and go to tile giant at least if you have a couple of chipped tiles you can take them back and exchange them.

I believe its the speed at which they are cut/manufactured.
This also combined with poor quality stone can result in a very cheap looking finish. Only buy stone from reputable sellers that have genuine user reviews.
