Rubber liquid over epdm roof

Hi , i had bought the house a 6 months ago , the extension had a epdm rubber roof with the pod. However the epdm is not a single sheet but couple of long pieces with joins, however it had ripped once and i had it patched but where the joints are it is starting to lift up slightly in this hot weather . I wanted to know is there a liquid i can pour over the the epdm roof to give it extra protection and reseal the whole roof . Thank you

Personally to do a proper job I’d strip it off and start again with a new flat roof covering.

I would say no. If your roof is damaged and it's already been repaired, replace it.
Preferably in a decent roofing covering like good old fashioned hot bitumen.

If that was me I would remove the old not so good flat roof membrane and check to make sure they have got the appropriate decking underneath because the old membrane has lifted for some reason .
If the decking is ok I would install a new flexi proof EPDM membrane and get a registered installer to do this so you can get a guarantee
Many thanks

Yes
There is aliquod called elastathane that can be used and so long as you follow the manufacturers guidelines it is a easy and simple application.
Not cheap but what is nowadays

You can go over If epdm is stuck down well however I would pull up the Epdm as it sounds to me it has been installed faulty and would then come up at later date with your over lay as you are only laying yours down on something that has already failed So would be better to start from scratch and rip up clean and apply as would save you time and money in the long run and could prevent more damage inside your property .

It sounds like the deck underneath is wet, this is causing the subdeck to swell and the waterbased adhesive to de bond.

Personally I find that both products are useless. EPDM is normally fitted by anyone who claims to be a roofer and liquid roofing is just a poor substitute by normally by a handyman.

You wil most likely need a new deck - try fibreglass!

It sounds like they used the wrong glue as for putting a layer of liquid rubber or other solutions is not wise to do so as will peel and blow you can get a joining strip with glue for a good seal
