Loft Conversion
I have a loft that is converted and would like for a dormer window to be fitted to the front of the bungalow.

In addition, the roof felt could probably do with being renewed. What is involved? Do i need planning permission; we look over fields.

You will need planning permission for a dormer window

Your current loft was presumably converted under permitted development. One of the specifically stated exclusions to permitted development is a front dormer. Therefore you will definitely need to seek planning permission.
