Can the above job be done all in one go and while you are living in a house?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Yes all work could be carried out while you habitat your house , there would be some disruption but if planned correctly , should run smoothly , time period would depend on size of kitchen extension ... As a guide usually 6to8 weeks on a small adption .

Hi Liz Yes you are able to carry on living in your property whilst the work is being carried out as long as the builder makes the work areas are kept safe and cleared of workmens tools etc at the end of the work day. Not too sure if you are having an extension built for the kitchen or extending the kitchen into the garage however you should be looking at 3 to 6 weeks (without looking at plans) if your looking at changing the front of the garage ie take out garage doors and replace with brickwork and a window you will need to get permission from your local planning council to do this. I hope this helps if you do need anymore info by all means drop me a line or send me drawings. Regards John
