Metal roof or Asphalt shingles?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.22 PM

I know that metal roof is more expensive to install but Ive been told thaat it is also more durable and requires less time and money to maintain, what are your views and pros and cons of each type of roofing? Thank you in advance

In my opinion asphalt should no longer be on the market. Every other product out lasts it.when asphalt goes wrong you don't find out until most interior damage is caused. We have come a long way from asphalt and I believe it's only on the market for financial reasons. Other products that I use are EDPM (RUBBER membrane), fibreglass or metal. I hope this is helpful
