An ensuite will be off a main bedroom. I would not recommend it, due to building regualations and safety. It is usually a smaller room and may be not be suitable anyway, because of its size. All the plumberwork could be removed and capped, but it must have a window for escape purposes and obviously it leads off a bedroom when it should have its own access say to the hall and then the outside door. Fire safety regulatrions would have to be met I would not recommed changing an en-suite to a bedroom - building control should be notified before attempting any room alterations. Regards Bob Jenkins
