Euro cylinder on fire door

Hi. Has anyone come across this before? Carpenter hung doors and fitted door locks a while back but I said I would fit the handles as the doors needed painting.

Have a fire door as entrance to a flat. Everything closes nicely and locks but when I go to put the faceplate on I can’t get one side to marry up with the euro cylinder. Can’t push up any further as height is dictated by the spindle. Spent hours fiddling around with this! Any help appreciated.

you have the wrong handle set,you will have to remove the lock and take it with you to purchase new handles, there are two different sizes of handles,a few millimetres out and they will not fit, thanks to euro/imported sizes, bring back british standards!!
