Painting & Decorating Question

Looking for trade-recommended white paint for ceiling

My caretaker gave me a tin of white paint, which he said was used by the Trade, when my kitchen and hall ceilings were replastered after a flood. I liked it and I want to use it in other rooms but I have forgotten what it was. I think it was an undercoat. Any ideas?
