Gas Fireplace removal

Once i get a Gas Engineer out to disconnect the gas, what is the procedure on having a stone Fireplace removed and the wall patched up. Any advice on this would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi All depends on how the fire place has Ben constructed. But as long as the gas has been done probably. Rip the fireplace down and sort the wall out with some plaster / plasterboard and a lick of paint Quick answer. Happy to help out
