Mould and fungus after leak

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.43 PM

Hello i had mould and fungus growing in my hall. On investigation it was coming from a leak in the toilet. The leak was repaired about four weeks ago but the mould which appeared to be clearing up seemed worse today and the fungus has started to grow again. Is my best course of action to keep spraying it with mould spray, hire a machine to dry the area out ( and if so for how long) or call in a specialist? Money is tight, needless to say! I' d appreciate advice as I' m not sure whether to contact a builder, plumber or equipment hire company to deal with this.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Wash with mould remover. Let it dry out naturally if money is tight. It will sort itself out.
