Anonymous user 9 March 2024 - 2.58 PM

Hi we bought a new induction hob on the old one there was slots/screw connectors for the main cooker wire to go to but on the new one it has these white plugs. should i have received some kind of interface to plug it in or does and electrician do/have that ?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I assume the slot/screw connectors you are referring to is the cooker connection plate.. This can be replaced by a Qualified Electrician with a single socket ready for your 13amp Induction hob to plug straight into.

Not all induction hobs are 13amps, even the ones that are i would always suggest connecting into a fused connection unit, not a socket.
