Install hall panelling

Anonymous user 15 March 2024 - 2.42 PM

Hi, I have removed the plaster from my hall, stairs and landing and am thinking of installing panelling rather than just new plaster. The stairs wall is the main wall of the house so I was wondering if it is ok to just attach the wood to the brick, if I can insulate and how, or if I need to plaster first. Thanks

Hi sally You could screw batten to the wall every 400mm and you could put 40mm insulation in between and you will have good fixing for your panelling Thanks marc
