Electrical Question

Electric heating

Looking for an electric boiler to provide heating and hot water to a 5 bed 3.5 bathroom property in a rural locaton that is off grid re gas and dont wish to install green alternatives of ground source/ air source or oil/LPG. Down stairs rooms will be heated via electric matted under floor as existing concrete floors remaining and being added to. Floor covering is tiles. Solar to be fitted and power directed to supplement water/ boiler. Electric AGA dual control being fitted in kitchen and so will provide a heat source. Upstairs bedrooms have a traditional wet system of radiators, consisting of 11 radiators.
The room heights are 2.4 metres (8ft). Bedrooms currently consist of:
1) 10ft by 10ft
2) 7ft by 10ft
3) 10ft by 17ft

landing 15 ft long by 6ft
bathroom 7ft by 6ft

Additional landing area will be 10ft by 6ft.
New bedroom 14ft by 17ft
New bathroom 17ft by 6ft

Having a new pipe laid to increase water supply to property as water pressure currently low and shared with neighbour. Three bathrooms being fitted with showers (not electric) running of hot water system and a bath in one. Several may be in use at same time.

Looking at increasing electricity to 3 phase and 25KVH re increased demand on supply.

Having previously had a combi boiler in another property and suffered drops in water pressure etc when more than one tap being run do not want to experience same. Therefore no combi boilers.

Therefore looking at system that will provide heating and hot water that will incorporate current tank or complete system that will provide hot water and heating to radiators.

Have been informed that a Potterton Gold 12 kw would suffice (however coal boiler was rated at 18kw) to provide water and heating if keeping existing water tank.

Recommendations please ;

We are looking for a solution that will keep running costs down re electric but provide sufficient heating even if we have cuts in power ( having look at generators in case of power failures to provide sufficient power for lights and power up heating system Ie pumps etc).

Would like to get this sorted asap and have spoken to several heating and plumbing experts who simply state "don't deal with electric mate" and "never fitted one" getting a little frustrated, dont know what would be best for us now and in future. Could you please recommend or give idea's.

regarding all written conditions , i'm not really sure if traditional water system at so big property will be effective.

what I suggest is instead traditional water radiators fix new energy saving heating panels , they are very effective .

i.e. Aironic ® 1000W Deluxe Electric Panel Heater Radiator, Wall Mounted or Free Standing with Thermostat & Digital Timer

and for heating water I suggest instant water heaters , they using electricity only when You using hot water , and they saving Your electric bills

for kitchen,bathroom - Redring 45793202 Power Stream

because when You will using something like boiler /immersion heater they will constantly working using electric to have hot water 24/7
