Electric tripping

Electric tripped when there was a thunderstorm. And has now trip a few times when swicthìng off sockets inkitchen. Which have all had fronts replaced.
By one electrictian said there's a fault. call out another electrician replace socket in bedroom cant find fault.done a test on board. Tell me I will have to have the house rewired. Is it really had to find a fault on a ring main.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?
if RCD tripping that's mean somewhere in Your installation one of line cables/conductors - L or N/ have to contact with earth cable.
proper investigation of all circuits / 100% test/ will shown damaged line. it can be between two sockets ...or in socket, so after when fault will be found is necessary to replaced damaged line.. or split ring circuit for two radial circuits and protect them by separate MCBs
Depends what is tripping? I assume it’s the RCD? A multi function tester, an electrician who knows how to use it and coupled with a bit of common sense should solve it. The so called electrician who said it needed a rewire is talking nonsense.
Had your property or adjacent properties been hit by lightening? It's a huge long shot but if there was a strike it could have damaged the MCB/RCD within the consumer unit that is feeding that circuit or further circuits. It is very uncommon within the UK but if it does happen generally causing serious and obvious damage to the consumer unit. With this in mind had your previous electricians tested the trip times of the RCD? Had they carried out any tests of the problematic ring final circuit? As if the circuit was fine prior to the thunderstorm then the chance of it being a socket face or cable damage is very small but this is dependant on it age and previous condition.
