Control switches

Hi I need an advice in regards to the position of control switches. I will have 3 control switches (oven, dishwasher and fridge) above the oven inside a high cabinet which has 60cm depth. I'm told it have to be accessible but I realized I have to stand on a stool or chair in order to reach the switches in case of anything (there is a chance of touching the oven). Is this allowed? Otherwise, can it be moved horizontally next to it, inside wall cabinet which is above the sink? Cause that is the other option. I hope I don't have to move it but I rather be safe and meet the regulation. Please advise...I can't sleep because of this!

How would you be able to get a stool/ chair to stand on if say, there was a problem with the oven to isolate it. Without seeing it I would say that a relocation is required, but not anywhere near the sink. I would consult an electrician to survey/ and give you his/her opinion.

No, they should be capable to isolating the suply to the appliance that is readily identifiable and easy to access without having to handle the appliance to do so. Also, when your Electrical Condition Report will come, the inspector needs to test the circuit and if it is not accessible will be classed as limitation.
