Potterton performa 28 boiler - high pressure

Hi there

Potterton Performa 28 boiler - high pressure. In the last day the pressure has went sky high to a reading of over 4 on the dial. Does anyone know how I can reduce the pressure in the boiler? Thanks very much.

Best way to lower your boiler pressure would be to either open a vent on a radiator and let the water out into a container until 1 bar is achieved or find a drain off tap on a radiator and carry out as above.
If your pressure still rises after this then either your filling loop is by-passing or your expansion vessel needs recharging or replacing.
