Lowering the kerb

Wanted to know if lowering the kerb to my driveway have to be done by council only or the tradesman can do as well please? Do I need a permission from council to do the job?

yes you will need permission from council and depending on which council they should do the work but you will have to pay for it.

Yes you need permission from your local council, you need to apply to them or they can make you correct it at your cost. Hope this helps and good luck

You do need permission from the local council. You can get your own groundworkers to do the crossing but the guy from the council will check that they have done it to the right specifications e.g. Depth of hardcore and tarmac.
