Chimney vent in bedroom wind noise reduction?

In my flat the bedroom has a closed off fireplace. It has a plastic air vent. When it is windy outside you can hear wind whistling through. Is there a different air vent that would prevent this? Dan

What happens when the blows over the external pot on the roof it creates a low pressure area in chimney and draws air from room through vent and thats the noise youll be hearing , the best way of getting rid of this is to fit a wind deflector on exterior chimney pot ( a china-mans hat ).
Depending on internal vent size , you could replace it with avent that shuts , get them in b and q for cheap . Hope that helps
