Flat Ventilation

Hi, We live in a flat without accessible windows. The ventilation is controlled by a ventilation unit - not sure if it is PIV or MEV. We want to get this service. Anyone can advice if this is a job for an electrician or heating engineers? Not even sure if I have posted this in the right thread. Looking forward to hear any thoughts. Thank you in advance. Hi Ray, it is a bit of a grey area as it crosses over between electrical and heating. Not all electrician will service them neither will all heating engineers. It may take a bit of research to find a compentant person capable of doing the job. M&E contractors are your best best. It is very important that these units are regularly serviced as they can fill with water and destroy the internal workings, they can be very costly to replace.
