No certication from re wire

Over view of my situation We had house re wired August 2014 got no paper work - electrician not registered with anyone. We are selling so need the following. A copy of the Signed BS7671 Electrical Safety Certificate or The Installer's Building Regulations Compliance Certificate Or The Building Control Completion Certifica Can I get these or what do you advise? Thanks

Well, if you had it done by someone who didn’t give you a certificate or notify BC more fool you. You can’t get one retrospectively. Get an EICR done on the property.

I second what Deacon Electrical have said. There should be no room for shoddy / cowboy / rip off contractors but clients will often go for lower price unaware of the problems that follow by giving these firms work
