Power supply for granny flat

Would it be possible to run power from my house into a granny flat I am thinking of building so that the unit can operate safely

Hi there , The best way of supplying a granny flat would be putting a sub main from your house to the flat , and then installing a new consumer unit within the flat so it can be operated separately than your , you could also add a meter to this to be able to divide you electricity bill up .
