Hello I have selected beautiful light grey tiles for the bathroom and a feature complimenting the main tile with stripes black, grey, white. Can you tell me, are there any benefits to placing tiles left to right (width way stripes) or top to bottom (stripes)? I am proposing these to be placed on wall behind bath taps and to the ceiling. Also would you place a feature behind a towel rail? My previous bathroom fitter did so & you can’t actually see as much of it as I would have liked? Thanks for your time.

It would be your own preference I'd say ! Dry lay a few on the floor see what it looks like!!
