Hi The screws are continually turning as they cannot get purchase to unscrew. An easy way is to apply a dot of superglue to head. Hold screwdriver on head for 10-20 seconds and unscrew slowly pulling slowly and gently out to gain grip. If this fails, drill or grind of head and replace with a larger screw.

This happens more than you think! And it is still a menace when it does. You can try one of these three, preferably in this order... As you unscrew the screws and are pushing the screw driver directly down the length of the screw, try putting a little pressure to one side at the same time. This acts to lever one side of the screw's thread up which will then hopefully catch and let the screw wind out. Or you can get something really thin like a chisel or metal spatula, work that so an edge goes under the screw's head and use that to lever as you unscrew. Finally, you can drill the head off with a drill bit that is the size of the thread. Size it by matching to one of your other screws. Lastly, live with a dirty oven window? There's loads of things you can use that will clean it without removing it... Just ask if you need to.
