Plumbing

Boiler keeps losing pressure and leaking when heating is on.

Anonymous user 9 March 2024 - 2.53 PM

We have only been in the house 6 months or so and have noticed the boiler (which is about 8 years old) keeps losing pressure when then heating is on and knocking out the flame. We have also noticed some water dripping underneath the boiler when the heating is on.

You need to get a Heating engineer to pump up the Expansion Veseel and change the safety Valve. Get a heating engineer to do this Not a Plumber. They need a foot pump, to pump back the air to the Expansion Vessel.
